Heat oil in a saucepan, sauté onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes. Add Leggo’s Pesto and oregano. Season to taste. Continue to cook for a further 1 minute, stirring continuously.
Add Leggo’s Tomato Paste and cook, stirring for 3 minutes. Add tomatoes, water and sugar, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Puree and stir in fresh breadcrumbs. Serve drizzled with oil and garnish with basil.
