Beef, Roasted Garlic & Caramelised Onion Pizza

A real meat lover’s pizza, topped with crunchy pine nuts and fresh basil leaves.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 200g lean beef mince
  • 350g jar Leggo’s Stir Through Sauce – Tomato, Roasted Garlic and Caramelised Onion
  • 1 x 30cm pre prepared pizza base
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Method

STEP 1
Heat oil in a frypan and add beef mince. Cook for 5 minutes or until beef is browned. Stir in Leggo’s Stir Through Sauce and bring to the boil, reduce for 2-3 minutes or until thick. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
STEP 2
Spoon the beef mixture evenly over pizza base and sprinkle with pine nuts and cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 12-15 minutes or until cheese has melted.
STEP 3
Garnish with basil and serve immediately.
Tips
For extra kick, sprinkle with some chilli flakes with the cheese and pine nuts in STEP 2.
