Ingredients
- 630g packet Leggo’s Slow Cooked Veal Tortellini with Cheddar Cheese
- 1 leek, sliced
- ½ cup white wine
- 200ml cream
- 6 rashers short bacon, chopped
- Thyme
- Cracked black pepper
Method
STEP 1Pan-fry the bacon in a large pan until crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.
STEP 2
Add the sliced leek to the same pan and gently cook until softened.
STEP 3
Pour in the white wine and cream, stirring until the sauce is hot and bubbling.
STEP 4
Cook the tortellini according to packet directions. Drain well, then gently toss through the creamy sauce.
STEP 5
Serve topped with crispy bacon, fresh thyme leaves, and cracked black pepper.
