Ingredients
- 390g jar Leggo’s Tomato & Umami Papi Chilli Oil Pasta Sauce
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2kg chicken wings or drumettes
- Fresh baby herb leaves, salad leaves and aioli, for serving.
Method
STEP 1Combine Leggo’s Gourmet Pasta Sauce, paprika, honey, cumin and garlic in a large bowl.
STEP 2
Pat chicken wings dry and add to marinade. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight.
STEP 3
Remove chicken and place in a single layer on a large baking paper lined tray. Cook in a preheated oven at 190°C for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway, until lightly charred and cooked through.
STEP 4
Sprinkle with herbs. Serve with salad leaves and aioli.
Tips
For extra charring and crispiness, finish the wings off under a hot grill, for 5 minutes.
